Worth nearly $20B in annual revenues and $1B in exports, Ontario’s cleantech industry is at the forefront of sustainable development. Every year more than $14B is spent in Ontario on industrial, university-based, and private sector research. If you are looking for R&D incentives and government programs, Ontario offers one of the best incentive packages in the world.

    Many of the world’s top water companies have chosen to locate here in Ontario including American Water, Danaher, GE Water and Process Technologies, Nalco, Siemens Water Technologies, Suez Degrémont, and Veolia Water. Ontario water companies have made clean water a reality in some of the world’s toughest industrial and urban environments. Some of the biggest breakthroughs have come from Ontario, Canada. In fact, two of the most widely used technologies—UV disinfection and membrane filtration—were developed here.

    In partnership with Global Affairs Canada, this mission will include market and sector opportunity briefings and a program of one-on-one meetings with key Brazilian water industry utilities, distributors and suppliers.

With over 23,000 firms, nearly 315,000 workers, $41B of Ontario’s GDP, and $7.4B in exports, Ontario is the place to be. 

    Brazil is Latin America`s largest telecom and ICT market. It is one of the world’s largest emerging ICT markets with annual expenditures of over US$120 billion, representing more than 46 per cent of the total ICT market in Latin America. Ontario companies in hyper connectivity (IoT, mobility, 5G, wireless and wireline technologies, satellite, etc.) and in disruptive technologies (blockchain, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, smart cities, cybersecurity) will be participating in this mission.
